Hamtramck is a 2.2 square mile town located in the heart of Detroit. Once famous for its heavy Polish population, the city is now celebrated as the most ethnically diverse in the state of Michigan. You can enjoy a variety of great bars, restaurants and a range of global grocers within walking distance, as indicated by the city’s ranking as Michigan’s most walkable city (walkscore.com). Additionally Hamtramck boasts a vibrant nightlife with a music scene that draws both obscure and nationally touring bands. The best way to experience it all is by living in a loft in Hamtramck — where the only thing better than going out on the town is coming back home.
This tiny city within a city is walking/bicycling distance to the Cultural Center (Detroit Institute of Arts, Detroit Historical Museum, Detroit Science Center, Symphony Hall), Wayne State University, Midtown and the Detroit Medical Center. We are a ten minute drive to downtown Detroit, the sports stadium and Renaissance Center.
